The hotel's location, just off the freeway exits, was incredibly convenient for exploring central Connecticut. The easy access to Hartford, New Haven, and Waterbury made our sightseeing a breeze. Additionally, the attention to detail in the rooms, like the Keurig coffee maker, made our stay even more enjoyable. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast featuring homemade maple syrup from their own trees - a delightful touch!

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic.

The rooms were spotless and the bed was comfortable. The location was convenient, close to the highway ramps. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from.

The noise from the squeaky stairs was bothersome. The limited parking space was inconvenient.

Great location near family. Quiet area to relax. The owners were really kind. The bed was really comfortable and I slept well. The breakfast was tasty and filling. The internet was good and let me stream Netflix.

The decor was outdated. The carpets looked old and felt sticky.

Great location conveniently off the interstate: The hotel is just two minutes from the freeway exits, making it easily accessible and a perfect base for exploring central Connecticut. Wonderful attention to detail: The historic house is well-maintained with a blend of old and new features. The rooms are nicely appointed, with flat screen TVs, air conditioning, and a Keurig coffee maker in both main bedrooms, ensuring a comfortable stay. Excellent service and hospitable staff: The hosts, Mary and Dave, were extremely friendly and accommodating. They provided great recommendations for sightseeing and dining, going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Delicious breakfast with homemade maple syrup: The breakfast offered at this hotel is a real treat. From freshly brewed coffee to pancakes, bacon, baked French toast, and more, each meal is made to order and made even more special with the homemade maple syrup created from their own trees.

    All was more than satisfactory.
